What a day in Arrábida actually looks like
Arrábida is the side of Lisbon most visitors never reach — a mountain park that runs into the sea, with beaches the colour of the Caribbean below the cliffs and the region’s wine cellars on the inland side. A full day takes in the high road, a beach or two, and a tasting — and the only thing you have to decide is the balance between sea and wine. That’s what you set; the order and the bookings are ours.
The Serra da Arrábida road
The drive is half the day. The road climbs the limestone ridge and runs along the top, and the bay opens up below you at every bend — Tróia and the sandbar across the water, the open Atlantic the other way. It’s a winding mountain road, and it’s the one stretch where the car you’re in really matters.
The beaches: Portinho, Galápos, Galapinhos
Down off the high road are the park beaches — Portinho da Arrábida in its cove, Galápos and Galapinhos reached through the trees, all clear, sheltered water under the cliffs. We’ll build in beach time if you want it; tell us when you plan the day.
A wine tasting in Azeitão
On the inland side is Azeitão, where the Setúbal region’s wines come from — including the sweet Moscatel the area is known for. We arrange the tasting with a local cellar and drive you there, so the booking is done before you arrive and you’re not the one organising it. The tasting itself is run by the cellar; we get you to it and back.
How long do you need in Arrábida?
A full day. Arrábida is about an hour south of Lisbon, and once you’re there the park, the beaches and the Azeitão cellars are spread out enough that a half-day would mean choosing one thing and skipping the rest. A full day lets you do the mountain road, a beach, and a wine tasting without rushing any of them.
The road over the Serra is the part that decides how the day feels. It’s a winding mountain road with the bay falling away below — the kind of road that has people reaching for the window in a diesel van. In the Tesla it’s silent and smooth, no gear-changes and no engine roar on the climbs, so the view is the only thing you’re thinking about.

We’re Afonso and Diogo — partners, drivers and guides. Up to 4 we drive the Tesla; 5–6 we drive the Mercedes EQB; 7–10 we operate as a team with both vehicles and both drivers. The same person who answers your first email is the one who picks you up at your hotel — no subcontractors, same team all day.
We speak Portuguese and English; Afonso also speaks Spanish. Tell us which language your group prefers and we’ll match the driver — Afonso (pt, es, en); Diogo (pt, en).

How much does it cost?
Price is per group, per duration — not per person, and not per destination. A full day (8 hours) is €600 for 1–4, €700 for 5–6 (Mercedes EQB), €800 for 7–10 (both cars). You choose the stops inside that day. The wine tasting is paid separately to the cellar. The exact total goes in the plan we send within 24 hours.

Is the wine tasting included, and do you run it?
The tasting is run by a local cellar in Azeitão — not by us. What we do is arrange the booking and drive you there and back, so it’s set up before you arrive and you’re not organising anything on the day. The cost of the tasting is paid to the cellar and we’ll tell you what it charges in the plan we send. Want it on your day? Add it when you build your tour.

Do you pick up at my hotel in Lisbon?
Yes. We pick you up at your hotel or address in Lisbon and bring you back at the end of the day. Arrábida is about an hour each way to the south.

Can we swim at the beaches?
Yes, if that’s part of how you want the day to go — Portinho, Galápos and Galapinhos are the sheltered park beaches with clear, calm water. Tell us when you build the tour and we’ll build in the beach time. Bring what you’d bring for a day by the sea.

How long does an Arrábida tour take?
A full day, 8 hours. It’s about an hour south of Lisbon, and once you’re there the mountain road, a beach and a wine tasting fill the day without rushing. Half a day would mean picking one and dropping the rest — not worth the drive down.

What if it rains, or someone in my group gets sick?
Reschedule for free if we agree at least 24 hours before pickup. The 25% reservation fee follows this policy: more than 48h before pickup, the fee is refunded in full; 24 to 48h before, half the fee is retained; less than 24h with no valid reason, the fee is retained in full.

Arrábida and Setúbal are the same corner of the coast, just south of Lisbon — the park and the beaches on one side, the fishing city, the Sado estuary and the dolphins on the other. Many people who come down for the day pair the two, since you’re already an hour south and they’re minutes apart.
